I think I've found my niche. Through the creation of many little girls dresses, I've found that I really like the appearance of dresses using chiffon. Farm Girl and/or Fashion Designer

Very often I find myself torn between the two. Do I want to stay in the house and create all the dress designs I have running through my head or do I dash outside to spend time with the horses and sunshine that seems to be beckoning me? All Dressed Up!

I've been plugging away on different little aspects of each gown. The most progress I have made is on the Tully Tropical gown. In the pictures below you'll see the bodice at the sewing machine. This bodice is underlined and has boning for stability and shape. I also have the gown ligthly pinned to the dress form. As you can see...it's starting to come together nicely. Tully Tropical

This beautiful gown was designed for a bride headed for a tropical destination wedding. It will be created out of champagne and white satin with a deep red satin sash and tulle skirt. A Striped Affair

I started the mock up on my first wedding gown for the year. I've got three more to complete. Two in March and one for April.This beautiful gown is based off of the attached photo, but instead will have zebra stripes on the bodice where there are feathers.Today I worked at patterning the gown, cutting out the mock up and sewing it up.
